What does the word baptize mean?

Frank Jamerson was born in Bell, Fl., July 4, 1936. He attended Georgia Christian School in Valdosta, GA. the last two years of high school and attended Florida College 1955 - 1958.

His first full time preaching was at West End in Richmond, VA., beginning in the summer of 1958. While there, he met and married Joyce Coffield and they had four children (Randy, Byron, Allen and Jill).

Frank has worked with the Wendell Avenue congregation in Louisville, KY, the church in Cordele, GA, Rose Hill in Columbus GA, the church in Dothan AL, where he also served as an elder as well as serving in that capacity at Southwest in Lakeland, FL. He and Joyce moved to Florence, AL in 2004 to work with the Midway congregation. In addition to local work, he has made numerous teaching trips to Romania.

Jamerson has published several workbooks including, "The Godhead", "A Study of the New Testament Church", "Bible Authority, How Established How Applied", "Lord, Please Teach Us To Give" and "The Living Letter Series" which includes the following workbooks, The Gospel of Mark, The Gospel of John, Acts, The Letter to the Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, The Letter to the Galatians, The Letter to the Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians, 1&2 Timothy, 1&2 Thessalonians, The Letter to the Hebrews, The Letter of James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John and Jude.
